Settling into university life means learning a hundred different things, amongst people you don't know, in an environment you're unfamiliar with. You deserve to feel right at home the moment you step foot on campus — with the help of our Student Ambassadors.
What We Do
Universities already have an abundance of offices and services for incoming students to assimilate to campus life. However, too few students understand how to navigate those systems, and perhaps more importantly, those systems do not in and of themselves create communities. Student Horizons connects students to the resources they need, while building the communities they want. Student Horizons is currently actively recruiting Student Ambassadors for Northeastern University, and is seeking expansion opportunities to alternative universities as well.
The Role
Answering their questions in the greatest capacity possible.
What they need to buy, where they need to go, and who they need to meet, in order to maximize their success on campus.
Most people who need help hesitate to send the first message.
Be proactive, reach out, and build a bond that'll last across semesters.
